VALENTINE BUTTON HEART DIY

I have a little crush on white pearly buttons!

I collect them... but have never really used them until recently. Many of my buttons were my grandmother and mother's... and I can remember some of the clothes they were on!

Here's an easy-peasy pretty VALENTINE BUTTON HEART PICTURE DIY to show off some  Valentine love...

Today I'm part of...

Make sure to check out all the sweet blogs participating at the end of this post!

This button heart is so special to me! If you look closely you will see little heart buttons here and there.

When my daughter was a little girl, I loved making her clothes. If a pattern called for buttons I usually added little hearts. I always told her these were to remind her that my heart was so full of love for her.

And even though she is all grown up these hearts now remind me of those wonderful days when a little girl would throw her delicate arms around me and give me the sweetest kisses and hugs and say, "Mommy, I love you!" SIGH!

VALENTINE'S DAY HOT CHOCOLATE BAR

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and for me that means CHOCOLATE!

Here is a well know, proven Valentine equation..

Valentines Day + Chocolate = LOVE!

Why not celebrating Valentines Day by creating a Hot Chocolate Bar for the ones you love?

I'm celebrating this Valentine's Day with....

What a talented group of bloggers! Make sure you check out all the LOVE-ly posts... a list is at the end of my Valentine post!

I'm celebrating Valentine's Day this year with you... my chocolate lovin' friends!

This Hot Chocolate Bar is all sweet and girly and lots of sugary fun!

I filled a big rustic tray with all the yummy chocolaty goodness... which makes it portable!

Let's get this party started!

Oh YUM!

Get your mug ready! I've tied a little red bandanna around it to act as a cozy! It should keep all that delicious chocolate nice and hot!

Since I don't have a real hot chocolate pot, I called an ironstone coffee pot into service. It too is wearing a red bandanna!

Make sure to pour yourself a big mug full of delicious DOUBLE HOT CHOCOLATE! You can find the recipe for DOUBLE HOT CHOCOLATE by clicking HERE.

Before you top it off with a swirl of whipped cream you may want to add a few extra treats to your Hot Chocolate!

Grab a CHOCOLATE SPOON... and stir! There they are... right behind the straws!
Click HERE for an easy diy!

Which one will you choose? Sprinkles or marshmallows?

Here's a few other sweet treats...

Grab a straw or two...

And don't forget the sprinkles... aren't the so cute?

Now that's...

 LOVE!

HAPPY CHOCOLATE VALENTINE'S DAY!

I've been super busy lately with some very exciting things. More on that later, but in the meantime,
I have two great chair projects from last week that I thought you might enjoy. The first one is about

iron chair

And the second one is about

french linen slipcovers

Okay I could go on and on, but I know you are ready to get to the linky party, so here is our guest host for this week.
Hi everyone! I'm Heather from Setting for Four and I'm so excited to be here guest hosting ‘The Scoop’ this week!

Heather at Setting for Four blog

Setting for Four Home Decor DIY and Lifestlye Blog

I'm a military wife and Mom to two teen boys – our oldest is in Military college and our youngest is in Grade 9. They are both amazing sons and it such an honor to not only be a military wife but also a military Mom! I started my blog 3 years ago, baby steps first then full time in 2013. I love to DIY and decorate my home inside and out, and create a stylish and comfortable haven for our family of four! I also started my interior design career last year and love helping others solve their design dilemmas and beautify their homes! As a military family we have moved many, many times and often have to be creative with fitting our furniture in each of our homes. We purchased our lovely 6 year old home two years ago and are in the process of painting it top to bottom, updating the lighting and kitchen and decorating it room by room.

Here are some of my recent posts:

I also offer online decorating services including Mood Boards, sourcing and answer questions via email; here is how I helped Raeleen with her decor dilemma: Reader Redesign – Fireplace Makeover

Graphic art is so hot right now and I love Angela’s metallic DIY Ampersand Valentine Art from Life in Velvet. This is such an easy DIY and would be perfect for a Picture Gallery Wall or part of a table vignette like this:
