ANTHROPOLOGIE INSPIRED TUFTED WOOL WREATH DIY

Do you ever see something and can't get it out of your mind? Something that speaks to you and begs you to take it home?

I saw a Anthropologie  tufted wool wreath last year and it was love at first sight... but it was love with a price! A big over $100.00 price.

So, I decided to make my own "tufted" (pom-pom) wreath. The wreath is fuzzy and warm and tufted and lumpy and looks like a sheep... a perfect wreath  for wintry weather!

This wreath was sooooo easy to make and really fun. Even if you are not a crafter, this is a diy for you...

ANTHROPOLOGIE INSPIRED TUFTED WOOL WREATH DIY

2 skeins Red Heart Light And Lofty Yarn in Cafe' Au Lait or any fuzzy wool
Clover Pom Pom Maker (click HERE  for resource)
1 straw wreath, leave the plastic wrapping on
hot glue

1 and 2. Make pom pom's using two skeins of yarn. I make the pom-poms using a Clover Pom-Pom Maker.

3. Trim any straggly ends off the pom-poms and put wreath and pom pom's on a covered work surface

4. Glue pom-pom's in a close but random pattern, covering the wreath.

5. Add an extra pom-pom here and there to make the surface of the wreath lumpy.

6. Pull on the yarn so it gets fuzzy and fluffy.

That's it! I told you it was EASY!

Hang and enjoy!
