GREAT RECIPES FROM OTHER SOURCES

I am all about keeping cool these days... these mid-summer sweltering hot days! I hope you are running for the shade, cranking up the AC and eating foods that are cool and light!

Here are some great recipes and menu plans from last week that will help...

I could stay cool and happy eating a KIWI SANGRIA POPSICLE from THE KITCHEN IS MY PLAYGROUND! Don't these look luscious? I'm making these for a bridal shower next week!

Keeping with the popsicle  theme, these FRUITY PUP POPS for doggies (and humans) are a great way to keep your four-legged family members cool and very happy! Stop by COZY HOME SCENES and give your pup a treat!

My friend Lisa, from THIS THAT AND THE OTHER made a delicious, simple and very upscale BBQ SHRIMP BAGUETTE as part of an Anniversary dinner. What a cool and lovely way to celebrate!

The Brady girls from COOKIN' UP GOOD TIMES have a BLACKBERRY LEMON BREEZE SMOOTHIE that makes me cool just looking at it. Smoothies are my go-to breakfast in the summer, especially when it is too hot to eat!

I am on a mission to ban most bottled dressing from the refrigerators of America! Homemade dressings are fabulously delicious and once you see how easy they are to make, you will not easily drizzle from a store bought bottle again!  Doesn't this RASPBERRY VINAIGRETTE SALAD look yummy! Head on over to BUSY MOM MENU PLAN  for this hot weather salad.

Susan, from ASH TREE COTTAGE has prepared a really scrumptious SUMMER MEAL, and she's showing us how! So what's on Susan's menu... a great salad, grilled corn and a stove top bbq chicken!

Our featured menu plan this week comes from ALL IS AMAGING. Here is a little peek at what she is cooking up...Chicken Penne Florentine Bake, Parmesan Potatoes and Chocolate Roll! YUMMY!

NOW WHAT'S  ON YOUR MENU...
